part of the clot breaking off in my calf, and travelling via my hea
to my lungs. I feel completely normal except for a little lump in
calf that hurts if I push it.

It's been frantic at work. Normally I have an offsider who shares t

workload, and it's monthly reporting time. At times like this I oft
feel that I'm getting past my time here and retirement sounds prett

since the 18th of January this year. It has been more painful and

around with computers, bike riding and weight lifting. During my
recovery I have not done any bike riding or weight lifting until la

all normal daily activity. Getting out of bed required pre-plannin

muscles. Ditto for sitting down on a chair, standing back up again
even going to the toilet.

One of my interests in life is weightlifting. It's an unusual spor

lift more weight than your opponents. That's it. Simple. It is t
test of absolute human physical effort. It's awesome to watch thes
people lifting incredible weights.

I'm sorry to say that I've left SDF. Well, as a web host provider
anyway. I've been frustrated with my php pages being unusable for
while now due to regular internal server 500 errors. This was an
intermittent thing and I was confident it wasn't my pages causing t
errors - they hadn't changed and I had not fiddled with anything su
as structure or permissions in my html folder.

I've been having some issues with my PHP pages throwing internal
server errors on my pages at bradmac.freeshell.org This is one of
those irritating intermittent faults that comes and goes. I'm pret
sure it's not my pages causing the issues as I haven't done anythin
to them for a couple of weeks. The problem with SDF is it is pretty
much run by one person - the mysterious smj. He seems pretty choos
to whom he replies to on bboard. I've posted a couple of times on
bboard and got no response - but my PHP pages did start working for
day, then started having error messages again the next. I posted
again on bboard and again the problem was fixed. I'd like some
feedback on what the problem was.

So it's been extremely busy at work and I haven't had much time to
what I want to do. I had planned to take part in a fund raising
bicycle ride in September. A nice 100km jaunt. One does not just
on one's bike and ride 100km. A little training must be partaken t
achieve the necessary level of fitness. I had good intentions, but
have only been able to do a 50km ride once every second week. Not
enough. It was causing me stress knowing I was not going to be
prepared. I've had to withdraw - which is sad.

One of my passions in life is bike riding. Today I rode 70km with

Koonwarra, Meeniyan, Stony Creek and Buffalo. Had lunch at the pub

Ok. So I've made it to my second phlog. So far, so good. I am 57
years old next month. My workplace ran a retirement seminar the ot
day. I'm not sure it was what I thought it would be. I imagined t
about tranisition to retirement strategies at work, financial
planning, investment advice - stuff like that. Well, it wasn't lik
that at all. The focus was on retiring with good mental health. Y
need to have your mental health in order before you retire. The
statistics on male suicide rates in Australia are frightening. The
rate for retirees is on the bad end of the scale.
