# Ebooks, part 2 I wrote a little while back[1] about e-books in general, but working on producing ebooks for Standard Ebooks[2] specifically. [1] gopher://zaibatsu.circumlunar.space:70/0/~sloum/phlog/ebooks.txt [2] https://standardebooks.org Well, my first production has been released! Which has been more exciting for me than I thought it would be. It was a lot of fun to work on and I enjoyed reading the book as well. The book is 'The Land of Little Rain' by Mary Austin. It is essays relating to nature in the southwestern united states. They are creatively told and most are really nice to read. In particular the chapter titled 'The Pocket Hunter'. 'Shoshone Land' was also really good. To get the ebook (free, both as in beer and as in freedom) you can visit this address: https://standardebooks.org/ebooks/mary-austin/the-land-of-little-rain It is available as epub, azw3, kobo epub, and advanced epub. There is also a link to the git repo if you happen to read it and find any errors (submit a PR). I am currently well into work on my second production: a novel by Richard Jefferies titled 'After London'. It is an early sort of post-apocalyptic novel or proto-sci-fi story. I am really enjoying it a lot (I am in the proofreading phase currently, having made most of the major edits to the source markup).
