Somewhere in the past few months, my gopher aspirations came
under assault by offline life. But I'm still plotting my
return to command line socializing. In addition, I've been
thinking a lot about various projects -- a couple include
creating a multi-user digital toolshed for comparative
analysis of news media, letting me to play with some text
analytic methods; and creating a forum/environment for
crowdsourcing the prioritization of issues and stances that
make up desired political platforms.

I've fallen out of touch with the Zaibatsu as well,
unfortunately, and need to make some dedicated time to burrow
back in. solderpunk made some comments a while back that
really interested me, about the future of the circumlunar
space as a collaborative hackerspace. I am increasingly
interested in studying and supporting the remaining
non-commercial internet, places like the Zaibatsu, SDF, or
tilde.team. I'm excited to see CS continue to develop.
