You have a problem with sending Linux 'apps' out.

Why, because all of the distros have their own package managers that take care
of using the correct links to the commonly needed libraries that are used.
and, worse many if not all are very old and have been superceded years ago,
e.g., they are dated around 2004.

When you send out one of these common apps they have a good chance of NOT
working on any given distro unless you send out the source code.
Therefore there is no point of distributing any common apps that are made
available by the various distributions .

Can you stick to the one's that are more unique and current releases?
Also, if a file is later than a previously sent one (or if in doubt) please
use
the tic 'replace' function to remove old files with same name pre-tag, e.g.,
bac1341.zip 'replaces bac13*.zip' etc.

Otherwise It just proves to be a waste of bandwidth and of a sysops time
having to clean up each area every month or two.
