Hello Janis!

JK>How could the file_id.diz being there or not have to do with whether
JK>your system creates new .tic files? Doesn't make sense, Gert. Unless
JK>you are saying the archives arrived with no .tic file... that's a
 JK>different problem :)

JK>Your tic processor should accept either a file_id.diz file in the
JK>archive, or a description generated when the file is hatched with the
 JK>hatch command.

Then have the tics been deleted at my system when my tic processor then tried
to create the new fileecho and it made it bad so I later had to manually change
the setup and the files only were in my inbound and no tics for them.
I hatched the files but dosn't got the description for the files just to make
them got right to my ftp /new/flashmar directory with a files.bbs file.

JK>Often, I do not include a file_id.diz file in an archive either if the
JK>file I receive is an original archive. I only create a diz file if I'm
JK>archiving a windows binary or linux tar.gz type file.

Ok.

JK>Btw, the files here had a description:

 JK> EVERYD.ZIP 140204 1k 0 Everyday
 JK> ITD.ZIP 140204 1k 0 Into the darkness

JK>I've checked the tics for those still to pick up their files, and this
JK>description is in the tic as well.

JK>These are just levels for the game, no further description is necessary
JK>as far as I understand it.

Yes and now have I put the description in for them on one system and their
files.bbs file.

  Take care,
            Gert
