Why not? How can you speak for many residents of the USA?

I won't speak for their thoughts, but I'll speak for their actions. I'm
white. I've been told by latinos that I'm not welcome in their neighborhood
and that even my kids are not welcome. I've also been told this by blacks in
a more subtle way. And I'm sure that whites (not myself) have redirected
wandering blacks & latinos also.

I don't know how your town came to be, but the towns I've lived in
(Binghamton, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Albuquerque) are quite segregated
socially, and it seems to be sorta ok, except for those uncomfortable
instances that I mentioned.

Obama got the best of both worlds by exploiting blacks, like a typical
Democrat, and then stabbing them in their backs during re-election, and then
leaving them for dead by the end of his second term.
