Hello Aaron,

>LL>Three direct meetings with the dictator, with no conditions.
>LL>What did Trump get for his trouble? Nothing. What did the dictator
>LL>get? Everything he wanted. And more.

>What did the dictator get?

Nukes.

>What is everything he wanted?

And the ability to deliver those nukes to wherever he wanted.

>To waste time?

Along with showing the world he was one of the Big Guys, with nukes,
and Donald Trump's best friend forever!

>He wanted sanctions lifted, but Trump didn't budge.

In September 2005, North Korea formally agreed to abandon "all
nuclear weapons and existing nuclear programs" - in exchange for
energy assistance from countries (including theh US). In 2009,
North Korea walked out of the Six-Party talks.

Instead of isolating North Korea, President Trump decided to
reward the NOrth Korean dictator for having been so successful
in developing his nuclear stockpile, which threatens not only
South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and countries in that region, but
also the United States itself!

You see, with a stockpile of nukes, and the ability to deliver
those nukes to his intended targets, the North Korean dictator
can get whatever he wants, regardless of whatever sanctions
the US (and others) tries to impose on North Korea.

>At least he tried.

The North Korean dictator is *not* our friend. He gave up nothing
to get what he wanted. And he will use whatever he has to gain
leverage over any country (especially the US) he deems hostile to
his own.

What did Trump do? When he first took office, he told everybody
he would never allow Kim Jong-un to have nuclear weapons. How did
that go? Do you think Kim Jong-un was scared? Not a chance. He
was laughing so hard that even Vladimir Putin could hear him from
inside the Kremlin.

>It's better than giving him billions of dollars in cash like the Obama/Kerry
> method.

Donald Trump swore an oath to uphold and defend the US Constitution.
A sworn oath to protect "we the people" from all threats, domestic
and foreign. That includes tinhorn dictators such as Kim Jong-un.

As POTUS, Donald Trump has rewarded his North Korean pen pal
nicely. And to many, that is treasonous. But hey, none dare
call it treason! His "base" would never have it!

>LL>How long do you think Japan will wait before developing nukes of
>LL>their own? How long do you think South Korea will wait before
>LL>developing nukes of their own? How long do you think Vietnam will

>Trump tried to fix this, but he couldn't.

Trump is a failure. A complete failure. The man did not even
have the guts to try. But what else would you expect from a man
who got five deferments - four in order to stay in school, and
a fifth due to "bone spurs" in his heel. What a wimp.

>I give Trump a 5 out of 10 for
>that.

Donald Trump is a zero. A total zero.

>I have to give Obama a 0 out of 10, because he didn't even try with
>Kim. Didn't even offer him a dozen measly trashcans full of cash.

In 2009, North Korea walked out of the Six-Party talks.
President Barack Obama wisely chose not to give North Korea
anything they wanted/desired.
