April 3rd, afternoon

Cold, cloudy; freezing rain this morning has turned into snow. How lovely.

Been a quiet couple of days, for the most part. Working, cooking, baking, and
playing video games, mainly. Increasingly worried that this crisis isn't going
to be over in weeks, but... months. Many months.

The last bits of that Amazon Pantry order finally showed up this morning, three
weeks after being ordered. Yay, canned fruit and shampoo and a few other
things.

We're still doing well here, really. Two weeks into isolation, you know things
aren't as bad as they could be when your biggest problem is that your roommate
is using your Steam account when you want to.

One of my best friends online works in a place that's considered "essential";
they found out yesterday that two employees there have tested positive for
COVID-19 after being hospitalized. None of the other employees are being
tested, which seems silly to me, and they won't even tell them who may or may
not have been exposed, 'cause HIPPA. My friend's young and healthy, but is
still understandably less than thrilled by all of this.

And so it goes, to quote Vonnegut.

Anyway, that's it for today. Further updates when I can. Stay safe, peeps.
