So this week I got hit with Covid. 1 collegue came to the office ill and in 1 week over 30% of our entire workfore was sick at home.
Please just stay at home when you are ill, especially if you have the option to work from home!
I must add the disclaimer that we have paid sick days over here and WFH in my sector really isn't a problem most of the time.

Anyway after about 4-5 days of being sick things improved and we carefully went outside again.
We did some birding in a local wetlands we didn't visit before and actually spotted the "Kwak" (Latin: Nycticorax nycticorax, English: Black-crowned night heron) which is pretty rare here.
In this case it were 3 juveniles from a nest. The parents already migrated and the juveniles will probably too as soon as food runs out due to the winter.
Other than the Kwak we didn't really see anything out of the ordinary. The area had loads of mallards, herons and comorants. It seems the migratory birds haven't all arrived en masse yet, but it's still early in the season.

On Sunday we went geocaching, well actually fishing for caches from trees. Some GC owners decided a 6m perch is a requirement for geocaching and have hung entire cache series high up in trees.
It was a bit fiddly at the start as our hook kept coming loose, but after we found a system that worked it was actually somewhat fun. We'll probably be doing more of these series now that we are better equipped.
