Serenity of austerity.

Austere is what I think I like in my room.
at the moment there is
just a clock on the wall, a 2 seater and a
bookcase. And some bedding for the dogs.
The bookcase has nothing on it. In the far
corner an austere bare tungsten bulb,
on a dimmer. Anything more would be insanity.

No wall art. Pared back. I don't think it
looks like poverty. More like clarity.
I think I naturally lean towards being
a clutterbug.
Bear in mind the quote, about buying things
we don't need to impress people we don't
like.
I've no plans for the summer. I think plans
are a hindrance. 'oh I have prior arrangements'
Mostly I want to keep clearing the house and
do the paint jobs. A lot of it is prepping.

Not playing with a full deck of cards I guess
but trying my best. All in all, things are
going well.
