It is 2019-05-01. I am, in fact, still alive, although with the lack of
updates you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

I haven't found a lot of time for phlogging, which is partly due to
actually being busy and partly due to odd (read: poor) prioritization.
I've therefore decided to update this phlog with more entries about what
I've been doing, partly as a way to make myself write something, and
partly to give myself a little more accountability with what I actually
spend my time on.

I visited Gopher today to track down a particular server I had memory
of. I logged onto my own server (tellus.strangled.net) because it's my
usual jumping-off point (from time to time I consult the cookbook, or
search the copy of the PD I host here at Grex) and decided I should add
some links to the wider world of Gopher which would let me navigate to
the server I was after, because I like the idea of Gopher being a
network of interconnected tunnels rather than a list of addresses you
have to remember.

I then felt I had little excuse to not update my other Gopher hole over
here at Grex. So here we are. Well, here I am at least. I found the
server I was looking for (redhill.net.nz). For now, it's back to
spawning documentary ideas.

I don't find a lot of time to read other phlogs these days (but have
fond memories of a number), so if you write something in response to me,
send me a heads-up by email (e8c5363a@runbox.ch).
