| A small collection of disc warpers for commodore Amiga
Warpers where a breed of highly specialized disc imaging tool, that
unlike dms or adf could be used for nonedos discs that included
copy protections.
They could capture all the mfm data on the disc, including any copy
protections,
the resulting image could then be uploaded to a bbs, from where it
would make its way to the cracker that then would analyse the disc
and work on removing the copy
protection and turn it into something that could be copied by
normal means.
The process of making a warp image, is a very slow process,
taking well over 40 minutes on a amiga 3000. |
