network. The protocol also supports features like password
protection, user authentication, and data encryption for
secure communication.

ICQ (ICQ Instant Messaging Protocol) is a real-time messaging
protocol that allows users to communicate with each other over
the internet.

Mirabilis, the company behind the official ICQ messenger,
filed a lawsuit against the developers of the Private ICQ
Server 1.3.0.67. They viewed this server as a dangerous
competitor to the official ICQ and sought to eliminate
it through legal action. Mirabilis believed that the Private
ICQ Server posed a threat to their business and the security
of their users. As a result, the server and its developers
were effectively removed from the scene.
Private ICQ Server v1.3.0.67 [262 kb]
The Private ICQ Server v1.3.0.67 program allows users
to create their own ICQ server instead of icq.mirabilis.com.
It is designed for organizations with their own intranet
network or groups of friends who want to communicate
separately from the main ICQ server and do not want their
messages to be read by "Big Brother". With this program,
users can send messages, files, URL links, and utilize other
functions available on the main ICQ server.
Registration in ICQ Server is possible in two ways. Through
the client (for example ICQ 2000) and through the server
admin. Uses the UDP version of the Oscar protocol.
System requirements Windows 9x-NT/2000/XP.
ICQ Groupware server [5 013 kb]

compatible client specially created by Mirilabs for these
needs. Works great and without problems in Windows 95,
98, NT. The archive also contains a patch for fixing symbol
display errors and clients. Although, perhaps, it is possible
to select an alternative client for this version of the
protocol. But no one has ever done this. Even me...
SIq ICQ server + update patch [8 825 kb]
A simple and convenient pirate ICQ server, working
as a service. Runs under Windows 9x - XP/2003. Does
not store user correspondence, but only configuration
and connection logs in a file database. Supports Oscar 5
and 7 protocols. Works with a limited number of Miranda
v 4.0 clients. Jimm 7.0, as well as &RQ 0.9.7.2. I added
compatible clients to the archive. Among the noticed bugs
in some versions of the Windows 2003 build, the server
service is automatically turned off. The reason is unknown.
Registration is possible through a PHP form for the site
or through the creation of an account file by the server
administrator.
All ICQ clients are configured using this principle!

WinGate runs on Windows NT or Windows 9x and provides
proxy servers for Web, FTP, SMTP, POP3, SOCKS, Telnet,

such as caching, that improve overall network performance.
The software also runs standard IP server services such as
DNS and DHCP. These services are useful if you have
