I think that one of the reasons for why gardeners don't grow more
native plants is that garden centers get their stock from just a
few large suppliers. These suppliers, in the interest of maximizing
sales, focus on just those plants that can do well in a wide
variety of locations. Needless to say, most of these plants aren't
native to the areas that the supplier ships them to. However, this
doesn't mean you're out of luck. Let's look at a few ways you can
