I live in Ontario, Canada. Computers first became attractive to me
when I was 5 years old, and my uncle let me play Tunnels of Doom with
him on a Texas Instruments computer.

I later stumbled across the Tim Sweeney shareware program by name of
ZZT, and became interested in programming games. I didn't realize
that what I was doing was called "programming"; all I knew was that I
wanted to make epic fantasy adventure games, and the 200 page manual
I'd printed out on my dot matrix printer was going to teach me how to
do that.

I became interested in gopher during a stressful period which sent me
seeking live BBSes for comfort. Something there tipped me off to
gopher, which I'd always been curious about, and now here I am.

Please email me at zot@sdf.org if you'd like to comment on anything
I've written. I'd love to hear from you.
