Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

1kg (approx.) extra lean ground beef
0.5kg (approx.) lean ground pork
1 680mL can of romano and basil tomato sauce
1 796mL can of crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 cooking onion, finely diced
3 or 4 cloves of garlic, finely diced
1 celery rib, finely diced
2 cups chopped mushrooms
1 cup dry red wine
1 Tbsp oregano
1 Tbsp basil
1/4 cup chopped parsley (or 1.5 Tbsp dried parsley)
2 Tsp fennel
4 or 5 bay leaves

Instructions
------------

1) Separately brown the pork and ground beef in a frying pan, using a
   Tbsp of cooking oil for each. Transfer each in turn to a large pot.

2) Add the remaining ingredients to the pot, and bring the contents to a
   low boil, stirring occasionally to keep contents from sticking to the
   bottom.

3) Once the contents are at a low boil, reduce the heat and simmer on low 
   for 3 to 4 hours.
