I went to the vet with my cat today. Unfortunately, they said my cat
 has a gum disease, and she will need to have her teeth pulled
 out. According to the vet, the procedure will cost about $1500. It is
 not exactly cheap to say the least.

My laptop is an old Acer travelmate 5730 from 2009 that runs the
latest release of FreeBSD. My favourite desktop environment is CDE,
but I felt like trying something different last weekend. I came across
a fork of mwm (Motif Window Manager) called emwm or Enhanced Motif
Window Manager. It's basically a patched version of mwm that fixes
numerous issues. You can download emwm here:

Winter is just around the corner, and the temperature has already
dropped to the low 60s in my neck of the woods. Just a month ago, we
were still in the mid 80s. I will have to turn on the furnace in a
couple weeks from now.
