I thought to myself, "You have that old SFF dektop sitting over there. Why not turn it into a server? It's from back in the dark ages of 2012, but the proc is good and it has enough ram. Why not?"

It was easy, of course. Threw FBSD on it, fired up GMID and Apache, went and got a DDNS account and punched the needed holes through the router. Certbot was easy too. It all went according to plan, until ...

```
Me: "What the hell am I going to do with this thing?"
Me: "I don't know! Run a gemlog or something?"
Me (again): "But you don't even use the gemini site you have on SDF! What makes you
             think you'll use one running out of your kitchen?"
Me (more thoughtful): "Oh, yeah. I hadn't thought of that..."
(still) Me: "Yeah. I didn't THINK so.  Now turn that ting off and do the thing on SDF."
```

And so, here we are.

But I think that server will be useful for another project.
