As my roommate says every week, "it's fuckin' Friday!"

We work the same shift at the same plant. Our normal schedule
is Sunday - Thursday. But because the whole plant is behind on
orders, we work every other Friday. This is one of those Fridays.
It's a shorter shift though, no big deal. I like the job anyway.
Really!

That's...unheard of in the States! Someone enjoys his job! WHAT?!

I thought of another experiment earlier. Some "experts" recommend
setting aside a "worry time" every day to sit there and bitch and
moan and sort things out so you can spend the rest of the day *not*
worrying, and being productive instead. I'm gonna take it a step
further: I will try "no feeling" days -- set aside a day of the week
to focus mental energy on my logical brain (the left brain in older
theories) therefore precluding the usual anger and irritation. I'm
thinking Saturnday is the best day at first; we'll see how that works.
I won't do it today because we have the whole "fuckin' friday" vibe
going and it would be too challenging to ignore that.
