Day 6 Natsu 2021

5 days have gone, 10 remain. Many describe a tournament has having 3 
acts, each lasting 5 days. Act 2 is often where the yusho race 
contenders emerge. We shall see who can take Terunofuji on!

Ishiura took Daiamami for a bit of a ride. He got into a strange arm 
lock, struggled and then span Daiamami out of the dohyo. Some great 
performances from Ishiura so far.

Chiyoshoma tried a sideway leap of a henka against Akiseyama. So many 
half attempted and failed henkas have occured this tournament. 
Akiseyama found himself facing the clay in the end. 

Kotoeko managed to defeat Tamawashi for the first time. Lots of 
springing about and resisting the pushes from Tamawashi. 

Okinoumi tried to lift Terutsuyoshi but sort of failed. Terutsuyoshi 
collapsed, causing Okinoumi to claim the win.

Tochinoshin managed to walk Kagayaki out. They both wanted to lift the 
other up but Tochinoshin's height won out. 

I am sure some of these rikishi appear for a single day. I keep seeing 
faces I do not recognise. Hidenoumi is one such person. I might be 
going mad....

Pretty boy faced sleeping giant. Endo tried a dodgy sideways leap, 
Inchinojo resisted Endo's face to the boob and channeled his inner 
bouncer to chuck Endo out. Poor pretty boy. 

Wakatakakage won without much effort. Onosho leapt forward and 
Wakatakakage simply leant to the side. Onosho flew out of the dohyo 
and lost.

Takayasu and Mitakeumi had a long match, countering each other's 
moves. Takayasu won with a nice judo throw which ended with both out 
of the dohjo. 

Terunofuji remained undefeated. Hoshoryu did not really have a chance 
and found himself out of the dohyo rather swiftly.

Myogiryu made kadoban that bit harder for Shodai with a swift shove 
out of the dohyo really. Embarrasingly quick.

Tobizaru faced Takakeisho. The waves destroyed him. Tobizaru found 
himself at the edge and overwhelmed. A quick shove got the win for 
Takakeisho.

Terunofuji is still in the lead. Only Takakeisho and Takayasu follow 
with a single defeat. However, there are lots with a 4-2 record.
