I've been looking for ways to get stange sounds out of electronics for much of my adult life.
the results have been called IDM, ambient, glitch, noise, sound-collage, experimental.
the following describes some of the methods, equipment/software I have explored over the years.

1994-1995 
    *cassette-dubbed radio vocal collages, rythmic am radio noise sweeps on cassette
    *modified guitars with halowween voice effects, steel percussion/sculpture, 
             thriftstore SFX records drilled with offset holes.
1997
    *sound collage using a windows wave editor pre-installed on a dell computer.
    *got a Roland MC303 groovebox.
1998
    *learned NI Generator 1.5
2001/02
    *discovered and installed Linux
    *got an electrix warpfactory vocoder.
    *started circuit bending
    *began using an Atari 1040ST with cubase and mididraw
    *NanoLoop synth/seq prog cart for the original Gameboy
2004-2006
    *built a Paia Fatman synth from kit    
    *Hydrogen Drum Machine as DAW in Linux.
2010
    *Hydrogen as DAW, almost entirely as loop seq and first Pure Data usage
2022
    *trying out various propiratary $0ftwarez
    *got a arturia keystep37 and an akai midi controller
2023
    *learning Pure Data

I had a geocities site and free mp3.com album downloads by 2001.
I've had a web presence with free dowloads somewhere online ever since.

as of 2024 i no longer call myself any kind of musician so as to distance myself
from whole scene of modern musicianship and misicianship culture endeavours.
