Some decades ago when I was first introduced to the Internet, gopher,
finger and other information sharing tools were fascinating to me. But
the web proved to be a glittering jewel that became a focus for just about
everyone, myself included.

I won't try to tell you that I am done with the web, it's too valuable of a
tool, but I've grown tired of trying to share my thoughts on it. I've
blogged, used wordpress, had wordpress hacked due to poor plugin choices
with shoddy code, its exhausting to be honest.

So when I joined sdf.org, and learned excitedly that they had gopher, I
decided to give it a try. So let's see how this goes. Thanks for reading.
