-==-==-==--==-==-==--==-==-==--==-==-==--==-==-==--==-==-==--==-==- 4/15/23 Weather: no spring, only summer Having a tidy yard does bring a nice sense of order, especially when you remove the cubic yards of road gravel that was plowed onto the vegetation. Cleared out the culvert (Kepler Approved), raked out what I should have done last fall, apparently got some garlic volunteers in our planter beds, good stuff. Went to a show in Burlington last night at the Community of Sound [1] and saw five stellar performances from a variety of noise/ "experimental" musicians that ranged from free percussion to drawn string drones to synthesizer meltdowns, all with reactive video pulsing above it. After binging on Bach's cello suites and the Well Tempered Clavier [2], the intense wash of sound was a welcomed change. I have signed myself up to participate in an upcoming 12-hour drone-a-thon in Adamant, VT as a part of Black Fly Days (gotta love the synergy of experimental music and small town festivals). I've re-arranged my rack slightly to make use of some dusty modules, and currently trying to figure out how to boil things down into one channel.
