Downward facing ones anyway (the Dogs that is (or should that be "are"?))

I haven't been posting about this (in no small part because it makes me feel old) but I figure the best way to deal with that is to dis-empower it by talking about it...

STATEMENT OF FACT: I am not as young as I used to be.

The preceding fact means that I get hurt easier and I take longer to heal. So, I should really except the help of younger (better healing), wo/men when they offer to help move Washers and Dryers. And, I should have left more of the work for my friends to do when I was moving my own stuff.

During and after the move, my knee balked at the activity and proceeded to swell (though it did not discolor). So, for a while I babied it as much as I could.

Now, I seem to have bursitis in my achilles tendon. This of course causes me to use other things (read: hip, piriformis, spine, and other stuff that can mess with my sciatic nerve) to walk while reducing the pain in my foot.

So, I left the Physical Therapist this morning with a prescription of Cobra, Downward Facing Dog, and better shoes.

Much better than take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning. Don't you think?
