# After the Rules I remember a time, an age of innocent rebellion, sleepovers, being told to sleep, to turn off the lights, and while they slept, the fun would begin, the interogation, the torchlights, the phonecalls, the laughter, the jokes, the sneaking out to the kitchen to hunt for snacks in the fridge, the good fun of trying not to get caught. And then one day we grew up. We didn't have to turn off the lights. We didn't have to sleep. With new found freedom, things changed. A different kind of fun emerged, one of esteem and pride. Innocence is such a sweet thing. I take one step back and attempt to decipher the big picture. This generation of extended freedom has resulted in a viciously rebellious society. I spoke to a cop the other day. 9 out of 10 arrests are drunks. I'm not sure how to put my finger on this one. There's a saying that one who asks for a war has never experienced one before. There is truth in that, but somehow, wars have always balanced out this equilibrium of society. I would suppose that If the two world wars did not occur in the 20th century, this age of rebellion would only have accelerated at a higher rate. A third future world war is inevitable. All it takes is one offence to or from Israel, and watch the oil prices shoot right up, and when the oil goes up, we can be pretty sure chaos will ensue. Will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
