A bunch of us met up at Jan's house for some packeted zher char dinner follow by a herean version of Taboo. After a few rounds some had to leave, and a 'battle of the sexes' round ensued. Of course once we knew we (the guys were losing), it pretty much meant keeping a close eye on the timer and doing whatever it takes to keep the score up. After a lot of drama, laughter, red faces and depleted brain cells, the game ended in a tie at about 1155pm. We left at about 1210am, Wenjie and myself speed walking home.

Wenjie, Eugene, Bing and myself were going to send off Raphael at the airport, had agreed to meet at Batok train station at 530am, to take the first train leaving at 545am. Eugene said if he wasn't there at 530am, that we should go ahead first. Wenjie said he was afraid that he couldn't wake up. So I said I'll call him when I get up. Bing said he wasn't going to sleep. He said he was going to cycle to Wenjie's house first before meeting up. Things sure changed when we met the next morning.

I had about 3 hours of sleep, and after I woke up at 510am, I called Wenjie and the first thing I heard was "Eh I didn't sleep last night". After I met up with Bing, he said he slept at pretty much after reaching home, with all the taboo voices in his head, until Wenjie messaged him at 4am saying that he couldn't sleep.

We arrived at 542am at the Batok MRT, Wenjie had to go to the toilet. By the time he came out, the train was 1min away. Wenjie ran out of the toilet (relocated far behind) toward the station, Bing and myself rushed through the gantry, after taking a few steps, we turned around and saw Wenjie tapping his card with red lights flashing on the reader. No money in EZLk card.

So much for catching the first train.
