started a make build in /usr/src on the
iBook this morning around 6am ... 12H
later it is still building.

one nice feature of OpenBSD that i really
like ... there is always almost only one
way to do a thing ... compared to Linux
(which has grown into a mish mash of different
software and packaging systems).

Slackware was cool back in the early days. it
was my first distro. later got the disks for
OpenBSD XX sometime in 2000. i can still see
my post archived on the list ... asking for
help in compiling :-)

my first job ... i used X terminals running
SunOS.

it's been a long journey ~
