Shale Cliff~
The path cuts through a shale cliff along the side of the mountain. A nice
warm updraft flows continuously from below. The slope is steep enough that no
snow covers the rocks and they crunch beneath your feet when you step on them.

This is the south-east end of Midon's sole road which runs about its perimiter.
Edge Road leads precariously along the cliff edge to the west and nestles along
the base of the steep slopes enclosing the plateau to the north. A cluster of
flat, sturdy buildings make up the mountain outpost, enclosed by an unnatural
forest of evergreen trees.

The long, squat tunnel comes to a sharp end at what looks like a dwarven mine
shaft. A rusty chain snakes up the shaft into the darkness, ending at what
looks like a one-way trapdoor. This passage was obviously not designed with
weak climbers in mind any more than this tunnel was designed for tall people.

Altough this building is an old chapel, there is no traditional fancy decor.
Instead, sturdy metal crossbraces link the curved floor with the walls to

Skull Run Viewpoint~
A sheer drop delineates the southern edge of the outpost. From this point in

out the source of the current.

in a soft aqua light. The water is warm from an underground hot spring. To the

Ledge Above the Abyss~
This ledge juts out above a giant abyss. A spiralling stairway descends into
the hole, covered in flowing light from the crystal-studded walls deep here

The walls of the abyss tower above you, a stairway spiralling around the side

caverns. The chamber is also very cubic in shape. On the ceiling is painted

appear to be any artifacts or strange formations anywhere nearby.

appear to be ready to tumble at any moment. The cave opening leads back into
the maze of caverns to the west. If you're lucky, perhaps you can cause some
