Living in a RED state has some advantages as well as decided
disadvantages. I get exposed to Faux Noise almost everywhere I go.
The outcome of the upcoming election is a foregone KY conclusion.
What is not so clearly defined are the real issues that are being
voted on. When JDT originally ran, it was a race between a
pseudo-political operative (DJT) and a professional politician, a life
long representative of the people. Incredibly, the people chose the
cult of DJT personality.

During that election it was obvious that the number of
home-owner/renter posted signs were the standard political yard sign
blitz. All of the MAGA faithful want to have their own sign, their
declaration of independence, showing who they stood with. The signs
were everywhere.

While there are yard signs today, which is to be expected, they are
significantly fewer than in previous campaigns. A cynic might suggest
that the folks with the signs are truly hardcore MAGA supporters. An
optimist might suggest that the fewer signs indicates an a shift in
even RED state voters. There appears to be a clear shift from
following MAGA blindly to being 'undetermined'. These are the folks
who will have to ask themselves, at the moment of decision, "Do we
want a democracy or some fascist dictator?"
