Old Computer Challenge Day 4 First of all - I've fixed problem with wireless connection - stupid mistake in password ( "unvisible" for my eyes ;-) ) And stupid message in log from router about unassociation and something bla bla bla .. but nothing about invalid password! I've checked my 8-bits boards - both works perfectly with cu and with kermit. One has CP2101 chip and other classic FTDI FT232RL. SBX board with CPU W65C265 requires additional settings in kermit: 'cr-display crlf', because emits only CR. I leave 8-bits for a while and start once again exploring emacs. As all time vi/vim user, I'd tried many times to use emacs, but always back to old habits. Yet since I've been started observing @screwtape on Mastodon, I have a great internal pressure to back to the emacs, in context of Lisp. Lisp was always language which interested me and which always resist my mind. Maybe this time. I miss entry level knowledge about base library operations and good developing platform. Comparing it to python environment, where in REPL I can check available modules, load them, check objects and their methods, experiment with it. I don't see that in LISP environment, don't know how to execute simple tasks. So I will try once more. Greetings from 512MB Gopherhole.
