**** on my travels through the phlogosphere

There are some interesting people here, and some interesting
discussions to be had. Presently, my ability to follow the flow of
conversation is hampered by my inability to settle on a method of
accessing gopher. Sometimes I'm using emacs, sometimes vf1, sometimes
lynx. Each of those sometimes local, and sometimes on sdf.

One day I'll get my act together and code up my own emacs client. I
think it will be more comfortable to make something that fits me, rather
than conform myself to something that doesn't.

To join in the discussions, some people were mentioning recently their
edc, so I'll chime in on that too.
- Sunglasses. I wear them on my head, because I'm too proud to use
either hair product or accessories to make myself pretty. I can talk
myself into believing they're functional. Even while I'm squinting
  in the sun.
- Whiteboard markers. I can't think unless I've got some to wave
around. When I'm really pensive, I'll throw them into the air and
fail to catch them. Sometimes they can even be used to write on a
  whiteboard.
- An iPhone. Because I need it to tell the time, and my watch broke.
