anyone here remembers bratz? you know, the big-headed dolls from the 00s
whom people like to call s**ts only because exposed skin bits are
presumed to make everyone think of reckless procreating? turns out it's
their 20th anniversary this year, of which i would have known earlier had i an
instagram or a tik tok account. the news made its way to me through a
recommendation from youtube on a video review of the re-released first
bratz dolls collection. i didn't check that video but i did a quick search
on the latest news and it seems like alongside with dolls, numerous
clothing lines have been released, as well as a new makeup line and
animated series currently being in development. not that it matters to anyone
here, but now you know.

oh, and there's a new bratz mobile game. i should have read the
description and reviews before installing it and being disappointed with
it's standard mobile garbage match-3 mechanic combined with dress up
and social media gameplay kind of elements or something (but then, having
been previously disappointed with cardcaptor sakura repaint record, i
also should have known better). the dress up part may be the only redeeming
quality of the game, since all the outfits are gendervoid(? i have
no idea how to properly call this) and you can even pick your preferred
pronouns for your virtual bratz doll, though it all falls flat once you
realize you have to play the damn match-3 game/watch 30-second ads/
spend your real money to earn the in-game currency (bucks?) in order to
purchase something you like there.

at the end of the day, the true(tm) bratz(r) fans(c) seem to be satisfied
with how things are going with the brand, and that's what matters the most
here. i stopped caring about bratz a long time ago and it's probably best for me
to keep doing so.
