Ah yes, I see these now and again.
   It's based upon Gardner's Multiple Intelligences.
   The thing is: they're getting used in ways he never intended and
   basically, aren't necessarily true. A guideline for sorting out
   tendencies has become Slots in which people are put into; and
   worse, whole CATEGORIES of people.

   [new myths like: "Blacks like to chew gum in class and learn
   best when things are loud. Whites like to sit still and are
   visual learners. People with Autism are Auditory learners"...

   These are mistakes, but they get repeated frequently and given
   credibility *and* policies have been made based on this]

   It's one thing to RECOGNIZE different tendencies and compensate
   for them. But it's another to put hard categorical lines in.
