Where *did* you get your education?

I was going by established history. But, if you're going by
archeology-only then you can make the argument for 1st century /
dead sea scrolls, with everything before that being fictional.
   I'm ok with that.

I was just running with Terry's "Bronze Age" thing, which I
thought was silly. Also, you should distrust me anyhow because
I'm not agreeing automatically. You don't necessarily know WHY
but distrusting people who disagree is usually wise tongue
emoticon I like how members of a religious faction stick
together to advise each other against the enemies of their
religion. As an unaffiliated agnostic, this cracks me up. We
have access to the same Google, but I looked it up as you
   requested.

I was wrong. I had forgotten that Psalm 137 specifically was
about a pissed off Jewish people and it's dating is very
specific. It's not one of the ancient ones at all.

Once it ceased to be "current events", Babylon became Rome, or
the early Church Fathers (the monks and stuff) of the 3rd-6th
centuries interpreted it in a mystical way, which is the
   interpretation I was thinking of.

I don't know about jewish mysticism but I suspect they did much
the same. aw, y'all are no fun. I can get New Atheist and Fundie
Christian alike pissed off at me using the same sentences. I
never see any Fundie Christians on the Internet anymore; I think
they left the Internet to stockpile weapons or something. Plenty
of Fundie atheists tho'. Thanks Dawkins... he should've stuck to
being a Biologist instead of a weird old guy activist.
