Yup. I love chaos theory. What's amazing about Chaos theory is
   that the initial conditions have been set *so long ago* that
   things have settled into what seems like patterns that can be
   measured. The varying outcomes remain new chaos starts WITHIN
   those patterns... leading to complexity. There was a professor
   who I never got to study under but wanted to, and he was all
   about chaos theory and complexity theory back in 1990/1991. I
   would walk by his office and look forward to whatever new thing
   he had posted on the door.. followed his emails (I got myself on
   his mailing list), ignored the math, but loved the pictures of
   Lorenz things, playing with Fractals and stuff.. marvelous
   stuff.
