a) There are Scientific disciplines. They are all different, contradictory. Otherwise, there'd just be one. That's why you have Physics, Biology, Psychology, Sociology, Chemistry, etc. b) There is a misconception that's been spread for some time that "all you have to do is go from: Quantum --> Atom --> Chemistry --> Life --> Biology --> Brain --> Psychology --> Sociology ... and that they'll *all* fit together nicely like Russian nesting dolls. But they don't. They never did. They can't. But it's an article of faith among many who are followers of Scientism. It doesn't make it 'wrong' - just that it's an article of faith without proof.
