Awesome grin emoticon It's been very helpful to me, especially
when I want to remember something I wrote a long time ago. It's
a Google for my own output.

*sooo much missing*... my import of FB was messed up and I'm
missing a few lines from each entry. There's a lot of flaws.
Lots of missing data that I *think* are in there until I go
looking for it, dirty text that isn't formatted properly, etc.

yet I realized, I *can't possibly* do it all before moving
ahead. I had to work with _something_ and I had collected a lot
   of "somethings".

The categories are a bit of a joke really. They just pull
analogous words found in each text and assign a single keyword
to it. I want that to be a key part of the system but even
having gone through several Thesauri of different types... even
making my own... I'm nowhere close to finding the very broad
concepts I need that fit how I think just yet. That's where the
Dewey Decimal was so helpful; it gives me a very general idea
where these pages MIGHT fit, if they belonged in a library.

so the process is ongoing and continual. I've been looking into
AI again recently for some assistance. They've made improvements
in the field since the last time I looked into it. [the Dewey
system is an extremely powerfully trained AI, and I would've
been equally happy if it was Library of Congress, or if it was
somebody else's "master system of knowledge classification"..
But being the DDC is nice because it's very familiar to me. [I
more or less know it by heart].

A hint in coming up with a system: Make the process of adding
new data VERY VERY VERY simple for yourself. I didn't focus on
how it looks; it's not REALLY a "public" website... but it's not
private either. My main focus was simple copy/paste/change
date/done. I can even skip the subject line and just publish if
I don't feel like thinking up a subject line.

So it works... and I keep adding new ideas when I think of it.
The anniversary is my FAVORITE right now; I can see "what was I
writing about a year ago today.. and two years ago... and 5
years ago.. oddly enough confirming a suspicion that I had for a
   long time:

We tend to think about similar things around the same time every
   year.

   Well... no that's a lie:

*I* tend to think about similar things around the same time
   every year.

I can't confirm it for other people. smile emoticon
