Woah. Just realized I've been following "General Semantics" (Korzybski) as long as I can remember.* Fits how I see/think of things disturbingly well.* Like... _really really_ well. I barely even remember HEARING about it before. This way of thinking, I just learned, found its way into almost all Science Fiction since the 1950s, influencing all the major writers who THEN influenced later writers and so on and so forth. I'll have to look into this tomorrow some more.* It's amazing that you can think the way you think is uniquely you and yours - and YES... it *is* uniquely you... but then when you find out there was once, "*A GUY*" This guy wrote stuff down.* Taught it. Somewhere along the line, decades later, you come along and learn things and come up with ideas about life.... all the wile not realizing that there's a "Godfather" of some kind behind it all. I'm in woah mode and should go to bed.
