Speech therapy in 3rd grade for stutter, complete success, with added benefit of being a living, breathing being entirely fluent in IPA. I always hear the sounds-that-make-up-the-sounds., even when I write, and combine it together very quickly in my brain. Deafness, stutter, had to speed up internal processing to add-up disparate parts to solve a mystery everytime I hear a word spoken. Its fun... thankfully Reading Claude Shannon's "A Mathematical Theory of Communication". (late 40s) at some point in my teens or 20s, was fantastic experience, especially where he goes over the redundancy built-in to the English language. It's a marvelous thing.
