I REALLY should learn Python.* Get it over with.* I know _so
many people_ that are learning Python, it's scary.* Whole hoards
of Python programmers are going to be unleashed upon the world
soon. Hope it doesn't go the way of Microsoft BASIC.* So many
fads in programming.* Then again FORTRAN* controls the weather
and with millions and millions of lines of code.. it ain't going
anywhere. Still though, I can't wait to see what comes AFTER
Object oriented programming.* Some kind of real-time processing
language hopefully.* We really need a language with a better
multidimensional timing capabilities - more simultaneously,
permanent history that's entirely accessible.. .. not just
"multithreading" and "task switching" or, ooooh - we can do 2
things at once - 4 if we have 4 processors.* wooooo. *sigh*. I
don't even want to get into hardware.* Want to transform
matrices of numbers what to programs have to do?* Use the video
cards display matrix 3D transform stuff (that's designed for
gaming) to do the math.* wtf. Build that into all computers...*
and .. make the processors 3D ALREADY.* All this flat crap is
annoying.* You wouldn't have to transform 2D to 3D and back
again if the original hardware was already 3D.* Duh.* Something
like memory blocks that can be 3D stacked in any direction like
Minecraft blocks to allow interconnectivity across larger
distances and not require 'transforms'. And screw quantum
computing for now.* No point in waiting for that.* "look a giant
room of "cooling" to support a tiny chip? please.* Do better.*
They can do better.* I can't, but I really keep expecting things
to go faster.* I've seen a lot of progress and then BOOM...
repetition. Sorry. Just feeling disappointed at lack of progress
in certain areas of computing - like most of them.* I got
spoiled. But something new will come.* I'm ready. Not smaller or
flatter or faster.* Something - *different*. Hear that world?*
Kenneth Udut is ready.* Not that anybody asked me or cares or
knows outside of my friends.* But I'm ready for a truly
mind=blown tech.. beyond nifty prototypes and announcements of
projects that never happen. Something beyond Buzz.
