There's experiential knowledge, which can either take time to develop _or_ a single experience with many lessons can be learned in a single event at any age. Then there's fact knowledge; the "mind is a bucket" analogy. I don't believe wisdom requires factual/lexical/word knowledge, but rather understanding and experiential knowledge can develop knowledge very quickly. You may not have all the proper words but you can certainly have the proper conceptualizations at nearly any age. I would say that "skills development" is both related to age and exposure, but not necessarily knowledge. *
