I found confession to be quite difficult as well. I enjoy the
world of my thoughts and while I express them online just fine,
speaking them aloud, just doesn't work right. Were I do do an
electronic monastery (something I've often thought through the
years; think of how unbelievably perfect it is for a 'fit'),
communication for something like confession would be in a format
that introverts tend to find more acceptable, like typing, or
taking a picture with the phone, or sharing an image describing
   one's innermost feelings/thoughts.

Still though... like you say, how much is there to say? Once
you're aware of your thought processes as they happen and learn
to watch them pass by, you can fix them pronto, on the spot,
right within that little six second window of "now", before they
take control of the amygdala and such. Once you learn it, what's
there to confess? The 'net is a gigantic confession, with father
confessors of sorts on every forum, for those in need. Does
everybody get proper spiritual guidance? Well, perhaps not much
beyond the picture of a cat hanging on a screen door with the
words, "HANG IN THERE!" - but it's something for humanity at
   least.
