It's absolutely amazing how many people the 'Product of USA' label has
fooled. I've met some really intelligent people who argue that the item
is made in the USA and haven't stopped to think yet that this means
it's imported into the USA most likely from China.
---------
In reality sex is work. Take away the work and you have fantasy and fiction that corrupts the ideology of a society.
----------
Abandoning tradition is an attack on your heritage.
----------
Society is far more paranoid than we give it credit for. There is a
lot of misinformation because of paranoia and suspicion that is not
broadly interpreted but focuses on individuals and ruins lives.
----------
If someone has something they put a price on it.
----------
Chasm of trust. Can we reach out to each other over the chasm of
mistrust?
----------
I think big business and big government is just becoming enamored with the
way they can coerce the public using media. The missing element is time.
Keep telling people something long enough and they'll believe it. What's
worse is big business and government starts believing it.
----------
In the interest of procrastination I've studied all I can find on the
subject.
----------
America is tearing itself down and you can see it on the street where
people tear each other down. While in other countries people embrace
each others talents and contributions Americans are arrogant.
----------
The more big business and government tries to control technology and
the internet, the worse the economy gets.
----------
You can't control an infinite number of monkeys but that is what
public safety is trying to do. It's reasonably affordable to control the
first eighty or ninety percent, but after that the law of diminishing
returns takes over. That's what's bankrupting America and making free
enterprise impossible. We try and protect everyone and the implementation
costs prohibit innovation and commerce.

I don't believe I've ever heard a discussion that separates natural

-------------
I would gladly work harder to pay more taxes, except for the
regulations. I can't sell bread on the street corner with a licensed
commissary, state bookkeeping reports, L & I mandates, transportation
laws, etc. I can't manufacture in my backyard without a million dollar
insurance policy.
Regulations that were originally intended to target big business seem
to be aimed at the micro businesses. If we can free up the individual to
produce we will create a strong economy.
-------------
Do you really believe the talking heads?
--------------
There was a saying that made the rounds in the early days of computers:
"the computer will do to the intellect what the six gun did to the big man
in the wild west." Little did we expect the internet would be the source
of all that information. The information has blossomed beyond just facts
and figures that could empower the individual. The momentum of
information gathering today appears to be about controlling, monitoring
and manipulating people and the public has little interest in the facts.
---------------
Wordpress templates are beautiful, but I believe they're robbing people
of their creativity. Back in the html days you had an incredible
explosion of enthusiasm, creativity and original thinking.

People and institutions are not handling information responsibly.

It's the curiosity seekers who are causing all the injustices.

Forgive me for my political incorrectness, but it seems to be the
conspiracy theory mentality in men takes the shape of government
incursions or military takeovers while in women its the cult or 'waco'
hiding in the bushes abducting people. There's a real difference between
men and women here and how is it manifesting itself in policy, politics
and the workplace?
---------------
Public safety, to most bureaucrats, is making things idiot proof.
Consequently they loose value and competitiveness.
---------------
The absolute core of evil, in America, is that people, especially the
yuppies and their yuppie dribble, pull away when someone is in need. They
back off, like they don't want to get involved and they try and disappear
into the crowd. These are evil, self centered people. Unfortunately I'm
no better and I must work to fight this temptation all the time, but I do
sometimes and I'm proud of the times I can reach out. That's something,
isn't it?
---------------
America has to be about aspiration. We need the opportunity to be
the best we can be and attain a rich and full life. The price in the long
run may be that only the rich can afford a cat scan, but why should we
take it away from everyone in the name of socialized medicine.
---------------
When a women is demure it's like creating a vacuum that attracts
everything around it. It's like a black hole that all the empty space
moves towards. It's like turning on an electromagnet and all the nuts and
bolts are attracted to it. Demure is a powerful force. How come some
women learn to use this force?

What did Yahoo do with all the geocities hard drives. All the incredible
and valuable information that was on geocities was switched off one day
when Yahoo discontinued offering free web hosting. Just about everytime I
did a search on a subject in the late nineties or early oughts, a
geocities site was returned with valuable and well researched amateur
infomation by people who loved the subject matter and were dedicated to
working with it.

I used to marvel at an entertainer's ability to get up in front of an

Is the loss of discovery the loss of life and if so is society trying to
take it away from us, discovery?
----------------
'Out of sight out of mind' is a natural barrier used by people for
peaceful and aggressive reasons. This barrier no longer exists. The
information age requires an explanation for everything.
----------------
The system is anxious to process people but it won't listen to them.
-----------------

Regulations will get nowhere unless we empower the people to take
responsibility.
------------
Under the scrutiny of regulation. Zap! You've been digitized. All your
records, all your information. It's been stored and now you have to fight
to claim your identity.
-------------
The municipal, county, state and federal government's main priority is
public safety. Well you're protecting me to death. Public safety's main
priority seems to be to protect us from ourselves, and thereby our rights,
freedoms to live, grow and self actualize. Face to face, the citizen with
the bureaucrat, public safety is a menace.
 --------------
Once they put a label on it, it's going to cost you money.
---------------
Public safety, a federal and state priority, is forcing the government
to put a value on human life.
---------------
I want to be part of society but you won't let me. I want to build,
create and discover, but you restrict me.
My intentions are to help the poor, the hurt, the weak and the hungry
but you refuse my service.
I am not alone in this rejection. You have restricted living to rules
and regulations that apply to the aggregate. Whatever we do or say must
apply to all and many of those rules impede those who want to reach out
and serve.
Society has gone wrong. It has become institutionalized and many
feel the pressure to restrict their participation. I see the lost spirit
of people around me, who once had vision, hope and desire. That, is what
has been taken away from people in this information age.
--------------
What are your politics? Are you compassionate or vindictive?
---------------
We've nailed down the curmudgeon economy with regulations. We can't
advance, be nimble, adapt quickly, competitively in order to incorporate
new trends , techniques or materials because we're restricted to the old
with regulation. More nimble competitors move fast, boldly and take
chances. It's the chances that are holding us back. We have a set of over
protective regulations that protect everyone and won't allow them to take
the chances to be competitive in the marketplace.

 Credit is a false government.

We see this devotion to Christianity, God and Jesus, yet I never
really understood it. I couldn't understand why people were so committed.
they would close their eyes, put their hands in the air and praise the
Lord.
After experiencing the loss of a loved one I can really understand now.
The pain is so great and life is so meaningless our hope is in a God who
created a World where human kind could have lived forever and through sin
we turned it down and brought death upon ourselves.

Insurance companies are holding America hostage. They've elevated

The key to information technology, anymore, is not creating and collecting
new information, but managing it.
-------------
We live in a society that is just dead from its paranoia.
--------------
The disturbing thing is how the EPA has worked so hard to shake the public
from viewing its rad net. They've changed the links, discontinued data
feeds and now they're calling Fukushima monitoring 'historical data'.
It's obvious we can't rely on the EPA for radiation data. How about the
ARRL. Is this something they could take on?
---------------
There's a glue and adhesion to society that makes it
work and it's called kindness.

The innuendos of biology speak are crafted to produce hysteria
through titillation. The trouble is not all of us understand how to
communicate in this method, some of the time, and if someone does not
speak biology speak they lack a level of communication people expect.
This lack of communication, or willingness to participate in the innuendo,
offends people.
So my question is: when people don't participate in biology speak are
they more likely to be the targets of rumor and innuendo?

I just want what's good. I want everyone to have an opportunity to
contribute, to do something beneficial, to make a positive or even
valuable social contribution, but unfortunately the bureaucracy gets
involved and it's get to expensive.

Good leadership knows how to ask for assistance.

I wonder if news agencies breath a collective sigh of relief when large
news events start repeating themselves. It seems news agencies are
starting to report news about Fukushima erroneously. They reported
yesterday, August 22, that for the first time contamination was found in
rice. Back in April rice contamination was a major news event. Today,
Aug.24th, NHK is reporting Tepco knew about the possibility of a large
tsunami. Previously they had a news blurb on how Tepco was shoring up sea
water walls for the larger tsunami events at a nuclear facility to the
south of Fukushima with plans to eventually shore up Fukushima's sea
walls. What am I missing here? It seems like they've given up keeping up
with the facts.
--------------
In case anyone's interested it took four hours to get USGS online after
the August 24th earthquake event. That's my current estimation of how
fast we can expect disaster information to be updated.

People get mad at the unemployed for the politics they have to face in
their workplace.
 -------------------
Paranoia. Mass hysteria. suspect your neighbor. Report anything
suspicious. Community is dead. Our social fabric is shredded with no
chance for cohesion. Divide and conquer is a military strategy yet we
squabble over petty differences and trust no one, not even our neighbor as
we draw and fortify boundaries. Does anyone else see this happening in
America?

11-Jul-26 Anybody who uses the word 'community' has an agenda.

11-Jul-26 I'm sick and tired of all the fear and suspicion people have
towards one another. Let's call what it is; 'rampant paranoia'.
-------------------
11-Jul-21 It's not as simple as throwing up a piece of paper anymore, as
a web page. The beauty of the internet, originally was that you had your
own printing press with free paper and distribution. Now you have to
compete with the hype invisting huge amounts of time in script, coding and
graphics.

11-Jul-19 We live in anticipation. --------------------
11-Jul-16 Is there any room for good in a paranoid society?
--------------------
11-Jul-12 Dear Mr/Ms Government. Bank on the resilience of the public.
Deregulate America and it will work. I want to build, I want to create, I
want to sell, I want to fulfill. Just let me and I will make America
great.
     Regulate resources deregulate small business.

11-Jul-07 The smart man about town, one hundred years ago, used to have a
tool box on his running board of his 1911 Packard.

11-Jun-30 You know it's funny. You used to be able to talk to the author
of a web site directly. Now you're talking to some employee who doesn't
care and has little or no control of content. Sure there are a few owner
operator web sites left, on the internet, but they're toothless.
-------------------
11-Jun-23 How many Bachs and Einsteings are living on
the streets homeless just because society doesn't have a stereotype that
fits them?

11-Jun-19 "Irrational attitudes of

11-Jun-07 I'm experiencing no humantiy. Are you?
----------------------
11-Jun-03 In order for a society to survive all of its members must take
responsibility for their own actions. They must be empowered to take
responsibility for their own actions.

 11-May-29
The seeds of a lynching, i.e. mass hysteria, are in rumors and
innuendo. Comments like 'I knew there was something about the guy I
didn't like', quickly turn into 'do not trust anyone', 'everyone's a
suspect', and 'security is the priority'. Thus our rights are taken away
and the slaughter begins, all justified of course for the good of the
many.
                ---
My research has become so simple minded now. I simply type something
into a search engine(Yahoo or IXQuick not Gargle) and read the results.
In the past I'd spend many hours down at the library going through card
catalogs, reference material, and books with a note pad handy to jot down
important or interesting data and references. I don't do that anymore.

As this vast instrument of free speech and free expression, the internet,
starts to be regulated it's like flies to honey. We now rely on this
medium to exchange ideas and progress information, but the government,
institutions and corporations are moving fast to banish expression of the
individual and expand control, influence and profits.

11-May-14 If you've ever worked behind the counter you'll probably
appreciate the fact that 'clerk' and 'clerical' come from the same word.

11-May-10 The EPA has fewer test stations than there are nuclear reacors.
--------------------
11-May-09 The problem with smugness and arrogance is that it does not
foster communication. Most devastating in the work environment is
training. A new employee walks in and other employees are put off that
they have to explain where everything is, but that's part of the job, in a
humble environment. Where smugness and arrogance pervade it's a tool
employees use against their employer.

5/8/11 It bother me that people aren't interested in the history of a
property when they buy it, only their new beginning. Kids play, dogs run
but when property is sold new fences go up.

5/7/11 jQuery has made my JavaScript skills
obsolete, and they were pretty good. So now I have to do it somebody
else's way, the jQuery way. JQuery is cool though. Scratch that. It's
amazing.

There's enough information online now, to keep us trained monkey's
busy for eons.

I see the political conflict in America as this. If you're a doctor,
lawyer, accountant, or nurse the liberals will let you in. If you're a
scrapper, a logger, or you work on your own car, you can't have a piece of
the American pie if the liberals get their way.
It's not a battle of corporations verses politicians and the
environment, it's a battle for the little guy's rights, the working man.
We no longer can produce and sell our goods on the street corner as it's
been regulated out of the country.
 ----------------------
The solution to the economy is right in front of us: untethered
Laissez-faire free enterprise. Let anybody sell anything antime anywhere.
Don't regulate, don't restrict. Let consumers use common senses and
guide the market. The only thing that needs to be regulated are resources
and they've all been snatched up by big business.
 ---------------------
Save tax dollars, make response to anonymous complaints voluntary for
government agencies. Let them decide on the validity of the complaints
they get. It's their job.

You know how you wake up in the morning and everything seems crystal clear
and all the problems of the world could be solved if that one idea could
become a reality. Then I figure I'd better write it down, but by
lunchtime that thought that I thought could change the world seems, well
pretty ludicrous. But what the hay. Here they are anyway. You change
the world.

The arrogance of the computer industry breeds incompetence.
----------------------
How in the world do people survive? They're always taking things down to
the lowest common denominator. You try and introduce prosperity and hope,
inventiveness, creativeness and they immediately tear it down.

The trouble is, everybody watches TV and that makes them an expert.

Wait! Didn't Rumsfeld try and tell us what we know that we know that we
