jrogue - A clone of game rogue(6) This is the version of game rogue(6) ported to Coherent OS. LICENSE: from main.c: This source herein may be modified and/or distributed by anybody who so desires, with the following restrictions: 1) No portion of this notice shall be removed. 2) Credit shall not be taken for the creation of this source. 3) This code is not to be traded, sold, or used for personal gain or profit. I modified it so that: * It will compile on Slackware, Red Hat, NetBSD, OpenBSD, FreeBSD and AIX. * Ice Monster is less dangerous, it is about the same as the hobgoblin (H). * You can get back to the original source by using RCS(1). * Can be installed along side standard rogue(6). This works fine under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD* and AIX. Note, I have been away from AIX for over two years, but it should still compile and work on AIX. * on OpenBSD restoring of a saved game will cause a core dump. I do not know why yet, but I expect it is caused by one of OpenBSD's security mitigations. This version is a bit easer to play then standard rogue(6). But with that said, I only won this version once. I never won the standard rogue(6). Compile Instructions are in the README* Files inside the tarball. $Id: jrogue-5.3e.txt,v 1.3 2024/11/16 16:31:58 jmccue Exp $
