(No) Old Computer Challenge
===========================

I just have spent a nice half of hour by reading of other people' Old
Computer Challenge Entries [1]. Pretty interesting but some computer -
while really old by today standards - dot's seem to be old to me.

In other hand, I don't feel to be ready to participate just now. In
recent years I have upgraded my computer setup considerably (from SGI
machines to POWER9 Workstation + ARM laptop) and also have changed some
tools (well, LaTeX and WWW tools) to newer - and incompatible -
versions. So it's now a bit hard for me to read e-mails, write texts
and to other once normal thing on an old IRIX machine.

Anyway, I am now on the SGI O2 (250 MHz MIPS R1000 CPU, 768 MG of RAM)
which is rather fitting (I don't use so much RAM - while I am not going
to limit it in software it is unrealistic to expect that I will ever
reach the 512 MB limit.

So what is the first day of my non-challenge?

I am reading the Gopher (Lynx), writing this text on the SDF server
with use of the SSH and listening an on-line radio (ORF Radio Wien +
XMMS).

I also edited my spreadsheets with my bicycles mileage. I use the SC
spreadsheet for that. By the way, I still have not reached the 2000 km
goal - now it's 1970 km.

That's all for today.
