DeaDBeeF
========

Logout wrote a post (in Czech language) [1] about the DeaDBeeF music
player. I wasn't aware about it before. But it seems that it is a
rather nice music player with a clean interface. It also supports many
file formats. It is already available in some Linux distros (including
the Fedora/ppc64le!).

I have installed it and have started to use it. It is really very nice.

It has several native GUIs for different platforms - one can use the
Gtk+ (2.x or 3.x), the Cocoa (on the MacOS) or the native Windows GUI.
Unfortunately, there is no Mac OS X binary for the PowerPC. But it is
only a minor issue.

I already have replaced my XMMS with it on my home desktop (the
Blackbird with the Fedora/ppc64le) and on my work machine (a 64bit
Windows PC). So far so good.
