Many thanks for TenFourFox
==========================

Yesterday I saw two post from Cameron Kaiser: [1] and [2]. You probably
already know the point: both the TenFourFox (a WWW browser for PowerPC
OS X) and the Classilla (the old Mac OS WWW browser) development is
ending. Cameron plans to made some TenFourFox security updates for some
time but the Classilla is finished.

There is much more information in the [1] and [2] and I'm not going to
repeat it here. I just want to thank Cameron for all its work (I cannot
imagine now much time he has to spent on there projects).

I never used one these browsers on daily basis because I was still an
IRIX user when PowerPC Macs were still relatively fast and then have
come directly to the POWER9 (to the Blackbird). But I have been using
the TenFourFox on the 1.67GHz PowerBook for years as my weekend
browsing device. I don't think that I'm going to change this habit
(event if the TenFourFox will not be able to read some ultra-modern WWW
sites it will ever be a great Gopher client).

I still think that it was almost unbelievable that Cameron (with a
handful of contributors) was able to made a modern, working and
up-to-date WWW browser for already slow and ancient system for more
than 15 years. But he did it.

Cameron, THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
