Web Browser
===========

I traditionally use the Ctrl+Alt+W shortcut to start the Web browser.
On my SGI O2 is starts the Links 2 ("links2 -g") but on Linux machines
I use the same command to start the FireFox or the Chromium.

The reason is obvious: the Links runs faster and better than the
Firefox on a vintage MIPS CPUs. Modern browsers can render "modern" web
pages correctly thus I am using them on modern machines.

But today I noticed on my GPD that it estimates battery life for 12+
hour if I run normal stuff (terminals, Wine, some GUI programs) but for
just 5-6 hours if I have the Firefox opened! The presence of the
running Firefox is also audible as the fan start to spin near
immediately after the start of the Firefox.

Is seems that I should change my default browser from the Firefox to
the "links2 -g" on my GPD, too. So the behaviour of the Ctrl+Alt+W will
be more consistent across most of my machines (I cannot do the same on
my ODROID desktop as the Links refuses to work here for some reason)...
