Summer set of hardware failures
===============================

All of this happened during one week:

The Linksys NSLU-2 refuses to recognize USB sticks. This is a problem
because it is meant to share USB storage devices across network. I
should try to find a spare one.

My wife's Samsung feature phone stopped to charge before few days.
That's probably can be understood as it was used for 5 years and very
intensively. I'm curious if my Aquaris E4.5 with the Ubuntu will be
able to survive so long.

My wife's work laptop, the Lenovo R61 started to behave randomly: first
there started strange software issues, now it seems that the hardware
is actually dying. It was used only for 3 years. She got it unused from
storage.

My own Lenovo X61s behaves strangely. Most time it works as usual but
the doing large computations then it produces incorrect result. The
problem is probably not in the software as other computers (the O2, the
GPD Pocket, the Sun Ultra 40 at work) provide consistent and correct
results. The GPD has even the same version of the OS and compiler. This
is very strange. But it was my main desktop/laptop from 2012 (I think)
to 2015 and it definitely was not new nor unused when I bought it. And
for about a year it has been my secondary desktop at home. So I should
understand that that there can be issues...

And there is not too hot - indoor temperature is 25 degrees (Celsius
ones) at max.
