iPhone->iPod
============

I read today that Logout [1] (the Bongusta! author) uses an old and broken
Nokia Lumia smartphone as a music player (as a sort of iPod Touch equivalent).

It actually makes sense as one can save battery life of an actual phone when
uses a second device as a music player (I used the Ben NanoNote in this way,
too).

But there are other interesting informations in the discussion (in the Czech
language, unfortunately). For example, the iPhone 3G was mentioned as a device
with audio-related electronics comparable (or identical) to the original iPod.

So I have decided to resuscitate my old iPhone 3G (i got it in 2013 as a
second-hand item and used it until 7/2015 as my main phone, then it lied
unused).

So: it charges and there are still my music filed once bought at the iTunes
eshop. So I'm going to attach the original Apple headset and to listen some
music during my way to work... :-)

By the way, I thought about obtaining a 2nd generation iPod (with the Firewire)
and to connect it to my iMac G5. So the plan is no longer valid because I
already have a device which can be used in the same way...
